Emily and I met up in the glorious city of Edinburgh for the second half of her spring break. We enjoy many of the same things when we travel—wool, walking, local food, photography and a good cup of coffee. That made it easy to spend our days exploring the city. Highlights that caught my eye: beautiful buildings, medieval Old Town, Georgian New Town, the ever-present Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile, Princes Street Gardens, Salisbury Crag, Grassmarket, Sir Walter Scott Memorial, Adam Smith and David Hume and John Knox and Greyfriars Bobby statues, the National Museum, cemeteries, J.K. Rowling sights, double-decker buses, ghost signs, closes and alleys, daffodils, moss and more. Not catpured in the photos (I think we were having too much fun) was a meet up with blogger Jean Miles at Kathy's Knits. Needless to say tea and coffee were drunk, scones were consumed and good Scottish wool was purchased.
