Hussari Studio Apron

Is it a pinafore? A jumper? A smock? We debated long and hard but here is what we do know… This is a great tunic-length pop-over with four generous front pockets. The full coverage makes it ideal for gardening, cooking, and working in the studio. Looks great worn over tees, dresses, pants, shorts, or skirts. Prewashed and dried to minimize shrinkage.

For over seventy years, the unmistakable prints of the Finnish design house Marimekko have been worn as bold badges of positivity and personal empowerment. Husaari, designed by the legendary Main Isola in 1967, features geometric panels and is reminiscent of the constructivist art movement of the time.

This apron is made from true vintage Marimekko fabric. The Marimekko branding from the selvage has been included when possible.
